Kiddo was born 3 days early - on Memorial Day!

2009 B.C. ( ...Before Child, that is.)
My last photo as a pregnant lady… and, yes, as a matter of fact, I was barefoot in this photo. Just kidding! Kiddo arrived a little over 24 hours later.
Much to my surprise, I did not give birth to a 35 pound baby... Ack, you mean most of that weight gain was Moi ?!

I could finally put a face to the little Karate-chopper in my belly. We decided not to find out the baby's gender, and opted to be surprised, instead. Does that make us old-fashioned?
